The Perks of Being a Wallflower, by Stephen Chbowsky

The first thing I’m going to say is that I cried and that I don’t want to see the movie, but only because it has lots of emotions that I could relate to.

However, I recommend it, is a very good book. As I said before is full of difficult emotions, it touches a lot of hard-to-speak subjects and yet one keeps reading because, just as the central character, one have hope that in the end it will all be good.

The author writes very well, doesn't linger in unnecessary descriptions, the narrative takes you along all the events with the right amount of the emotion, no over-stressing points.

If any of you have ever read “Thirteen Reasons Why” then you can now how it feels to read this book. However, just to avoid misunderstanding I've got to tell you that, The perks of being a wallflower is not about suicide.

I recommend this book and also thirteen reasons why by Jay Asher.

For me the letters are written for himself, what do you think?? Leave a comment!
